  • Coarse, mostly prostrate, perennial grass. 

Habitat(s)

  • Vernal pools.

Additional Information

  • Introduced. Native to Europe*. Appears to be highly invasive in Central Valley vernal pools.
     
  • Flowering time: April - June.
     
  • *Not treated in Jepson Manual. Some confusion over whether the species invading the Central Valley is the weed G. declinata or the native G. occidentalis.
